Add AI to a website only when it has a job

AI features fail on business websites for a predictable reason: they are installed as decoration. A widget appears in the corner, answers invent details, and the contact form still does all the useful work.

Useful implementations start with a job. Answer the ten questions your receptionist already knows. Route after-hours enquiries. Draft a reply for a human to send. Sync a qualified lead into the CRM. If you cannot write that job in one sentence, wait.

The architecture matters more than the model. Keep API keys in environment variables. Do not publish unsupervised answers as if they were your policy. Log enough to improve the assistant, and not so much that you store personal information you do not need.

This website is already structured with a provider interface so a chatbot or FAQ assistant can be enabled later without rearranging templates. That is the point: make the door, then walk through it when the business case is real.
